Puan Fairuz Kartini Binti Ahmad ("Puan Fairuz") has 29 years of working experience in various fields and disciplines within Sime Darby Group particularly in Financial Management, Project Accounting, Procurement and Governance, Operations and Administrations since September 1994. The group's businesses covered a wide range of industries such as energy (oil and gas), utilities (water and port), plantations, properties (property development and investment management), industrials (heavy equipment and power system) and motors (assembly plant and trading).

She attached with Sime Darby Property Berhad since December 2017 after the demerger of the Sime Darby Group into a pure play company, and taking the roles in vendor management and performance, procurement governance, risk management and sustainability for the Sime Darby Property group.

Puan Fairuz has successfully implemented the end-to-end eProcurement system in year 2021 to align with companies transformation and digitalization.

She was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director in Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad ("SPNB") since February 2015 until February 2021 with additional roles as a Chairman of Audit & Integrity Committee, a member of Policy and Governance Committee and a Director of SPNB Dana Sdn. Bhd. (a subsidiary company of SPNB Holding Berhad).
